'No Hard Feelings': Cast and Streaming Details of the Comedy Starring Jennifer Lawrence and Andrew Barth Feldman
A few months after giving birth to her first child with Cooke Maroney, Jennifer Lawrence starred in the R-rated comedy "No Hard Feelings," released in theaters in June.
The film follows Lawrence's character, Maddie, a cash-strapped Uber driver in desperate need of a car.
She is hired by affluent parents to entertain their nerdy teenage son, played by Andrew Barth Feldman, in exchange for a Buick Regal.
In an interview with USA TODAY in June, Lawrence revealed that she had been offered various comedy roles before but found them lacking in humor.
However, that changed when she read the script for "No Hard Feelings." She remarked, "I read the script and thought it was the funniest thing I'd ever seen."
The movie is loosely based on a real-life Craigslist post that one of the film's producers stumbled upon.
Director Gene Stupnitsky, a longtime friend of Lawrence, was on the hunt for a comedy project they could collaborate on.
He praised Lawrence's comedic talents, saying, "Anyone who’s ever seen an interview with her knows how funny she is.
She’s really put through the paces in this movie, but ... everything she does is 100%." No Hard Feelings
As for where to watch "No Hard Feelings," Netflix announced that the movie became available for streaming starting October 22.
The film's cast includes Jennifer Lawrence, Andrew Barth Feldman, Matthew Broderick, Laura Benanti, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Natalie Morales, Scott MacArthur, Kyle Mooney, and Hasan Minhaj.
