Earlier in the week, Maxwell fell off a golf cart, resulting in a concussion and facial bruising.
The incident occurred while Maxwell was riding on the back of a golf cart. This marks his second freak injury in less than a year.
In November 2022, he fractured his leg during a birthday party in Melbourne.
Maxwell has been a crucial part of Australia's one-day team for several years. He has played 135 matches,
amassing 3691 runs at an average of 33.86 and an impressive strike rate of 125.75. He has also scored three centuries and 23 half-centuries.
Additionally, Maxwell is known for his off-spin bowling skills, having taken 68 wickets with an economy rate of 5.48.
